saturday night
traffic at 830pm last night wasso bad i actually got dizzy from my own driving. sheesh, it was even traffic on katipunan.
apparently, it had been raining pretty hard earlier last night. i didn't notice because i was at the mall. that is, until the power went out at the mall.
seeing your favorite mall in the dark is kinda creepy. fortunately, i wasn't on my own on a shopping spree. i was at victory center because it was our team's turn to handle kids church this saturday. even with no air-conditioning and only a couple of ceiling lights on, kids church was still lots of fun. everything--games, songs, preaching--turned out great despite the lack of electricity. we even had an indiana jones-inspired skit which was hilarious wahahaha...
it's good to be back, although i will miss the wonderful people i've made friends with in our church in la union. hey joboy, ate mela! i've learned a lot from them, especially how it is to be humble. which is a trait i could admittedly work on
God rocks, electricity or no electricity. KC first saturday team rocks =)
ooh, and happy birthday again to searching4eden! here's to the start of another amazing year =)
