All wet
Ugh...I AM all wet, but not from anything pleasant like a shower, a dip in the pool, or a pleasing rain drizzle -- I'm all wet because both Lily and Eve are in reflux mode and have this uncanny ability to puke all over me...all day long...at every feeding. It's gross and smells nasty. I swear, babies must not have taste buds or smell recepters like I do because that formula is NOT appealing by any stretch of the imagination. But despite my formula-drenched attire, I still love my babies SO much I can't even put it into words. If you want to see them, visit our blog at www.lilyandeve.blogspot.com . We're looking at going to Florida for Christmas. I'm hoping that the girls will be good to go in December. They will be 4 months at the end of this month, though their "Adjusted Age" is actually only 2 months becauseo f their prematurity. SO, they will still be rather young when we want to go down there. I just wish we didn't have to stay in hotels. I'd much prefer not to expose the girls to such germs during RSV season. I don't think we can manage staying with amily though, we only have family in Maryland and northern North Carolina, so there isn't anywhere to stay lower than that and we aren't going to be driving for really long stretches with the girls.
Anyway, the stats: The girls are about 12 1/2 pound each now and they are about 22-23 inches long. They are doing so well and smile and coo a lot. Today Lily did a good job of keeping her head and chest off the ground when she was enjoying "tummy time." Eve is not as good, but they are learning.
