(no subject)
Today was sort of the same as every other day, except with the opening of a few gifts, which i always feel awkward about anyway. I got books for my contemporary fiction class next semester, more crosswords, and a voice recorder for my interviews. My brother gave me a camera that takes 8 action photos in one (difficult to explain, but very cool. Reminds me of Sara S.).
We didn't even open anything until a half hour ago, and there were only a few things, which is fine.
We didn't go anywhere, and no one came here except for two of my three brothers. My other brother, and my sister are both in Florida, unable to fly up this year. That's fine.
We hadn't decorated the tree until last night anyway.
Speaking of Sara S., which I wasn't really, but anyway, she said "Christmas has lost its effect on me."
I would have to agree.
New Years, however, should be alright.
