(no subject)
i am getting a new blog. "blogging," implying that it won't be "LJ-ing".
1. livejournal's setup makes the comments people leave seem just as important as the entries themselves. i want to just write entries and not have to count on comments.
2. i've had this same journal since angsty emotional sophmore year of high school. i don't really want to be connected to those entries anymore.
3. i check my friends' page constantly - too much - instead of simply talking to my friends in person.
4. i want to post a lot of pictures, but because some friends have me on their friend's pages, i always have to make "lj-cuts"... and i don't want to.
5. livejournal is checked more often than a single person's journal on another website... partly from convenience and partly from laziness. i'd kind of like mine to be checked and analyzed a lot less often.
