Move In Day - time to put on the game face
I have been up at 6:00 am every morning for the last three mornings just a little bit freaked out about what today will bring. The last year of my work has been preparing for today and move in days are never smooth sailing. My goal was to make it as smooth as possible with as few hiccups as I could manage. This has meant late nights at the office, early mornings and weekend work. Some of you know that this is on top of a strained and strange relationship with the manager over my job position, job responsibilities and the girl that got hired as assistant manager instead of me. Yesterday was finally over after 15 hours at the office and what I hope was the completion of the last big chunk of work I had to do for this project, except for the actual move in day.
So, at almost 7:00 this morning, I'm getting ready to head back into the office to wrap this project up. If you don't hear from me again it's probably because some angry mob of parents took me out back to use me as a tug toy :)
