So I just finished watching 'Britney, Britney' on Glee.
I really enjoyed Brit's video montage when she went under the anesthetic, but when it kept happening I was frustrated because it didn't make sense to me that everyone was having Britney dreams. I was very glad when Artie explained why everyone likely was having the same type of Dreams.
I was very excited to see Britney actually in the episode.
The performances were all well done and the singing was great. The remix of Toxic was lovely and it was really nice to see Will perform.
What I did NOT like though, was the nerd's reaction during the performance. It was annoying after the first shot, and the add in of the girl beside him screaming to have Will's babies...was purely annoying.
The entire episode was talking about what an idol Britney was and how she helped the members of Glee discover their true potential, so what purpose did this serve? That Will letting 'loose' made him sexy enough to make students lust after him so intensely they reacted as if he was a star? To let the members of Glee have a die-hard fan that was orgasming over their performance? What was then purpose?
Before anyone flames me on this, I would like to point out that the only other episode of Glee that I have EVER seen is the pilot. So please don't be a mean. :D
