Flowers at Cagasa

The Stewartia Pseudocamellia is in bloom! I had forgotten that it would be as late as mid-July.

The day lilies are vibrant, the yellow primrose look great, the white hydrangea and spirea are in full glory. Day lilies don't look good in bouquets, neither does Spirea, but the rest are all in here.

Oddly, the white yarrow that I tried to cull is back, and the red is only just coming in.

I have a lot of lunaria in the flower beds this year. This is the first time I've ever picked them to use in a fresh bouquet. I sort of like it.  (See the green circle with seeds showing through at 11:00?  That's the lunaria, aka "honesty" plant.  We usually use it dried.)

The Bee balm is doing great in the south bed.

Balloon flowers are coming in strong but not yet in bloom.

The clematis is in bloom.

The purple flowers, maybe Campanella? Are in bloom.

No phlox yet. The iris and poppies and peonies and Indigo purpora are gone by.

The hardy geranium look great. I love the variety Rozanne.

Oh, and the tickseed is in bloom, too.
