Spring cleaning notes
I am doing chores at the island that I don't necessarily do every year, so I am noting them here where I can find them again.
Last time I was up I coated the ocean bedroom mattress with my baking soda and lavender concoction and flipped the mattress around when I vacuumed it off.
This time I am about to do this with the bunkroom double bed.
I washed all the screens for the kitchen and dining room windows.
I washed behind and beside the stove.
I am emptying the finished compost bin into the tiered garden and the west beds and a bit into the cutting garden bed, then capping the north one and changing the south one to be the one in use.
I like chores at the island. I do a one hour job, stop to play a bit, then do another, and so. Things get done, but at a leisurely pace. It feels good.
