The broken glass solution

May 14, 2016 19:00

I have been trying and trying to hire someone to replace some windows. I can't get anyone to come. (NTS: I have tried Macy and the Cowboy and Maine-tainers and Hancock lumber).

The solution turns out to be to break the inner window. That way we don't have to hire anyone and we can use our money as we prefer.

I am amused in a way that only economics geeks will get.

But for the others, let me report that it totally works. The glass is difficult to remove because it is glued in, but breaking along scoring lines most of the time and it is totally fixing the problem.

economics, polydoma, island life
