Book Review: Seven Stages of Money Maturity

Jul 27, 2014 23:56

It's going to be really hard to classify George Kinder's "Seven Stages of Money Maturity".

Basically, it's about how you can achieve enlightment and escape samsara financially.  It's heavy on Buddhist concepts, but applies them to financial issues.

I loved it.  But then, it was written specifically for me.  The author was a tax accountant who became a CFP and worked one-on-one with his clients counseling them on financial wellness.  That's me.  That's what I do.  He even lives near me.

I want to flesh out this review and make it useful but it's nearly midnight so I'm going to leave it a stub for now.

Recommended.

books, money, unitarian universalism, cfp, debt, therapy
