Obama is meeting tonight (on a night unlike all others) with King Abdullah II of Jordan tonight.
I am a big fan of one of those two men.
I hope it makes a difference. Ab and I share an interest in the same long-term goal. I find myself indulging in uncharacteristic optimism whenever one of my presidents has the good sense to meet with him.
