Center does not hold
The freezer portion of my kitchen refrigerator stopped working sometime last night. Everything in there thawed completely, since no adult was home to consider the implications and move the food to a different freezer.
Since B is out of town this weekend I happened to be the person who fed the monster this morning. I discovered that she was out of food, with barely enough for breakfast.
I could not work up the energy to exercise this morning, nor have I all week with the exception of a bit of yoga. The clock change kicks my butt.
I am face to face with clients a minimum of eight hours of each day in the most intense engaged way possible. When I am not in front of a client I am supposed to be servicing their emails, answering staff questions, and doing the most difficult part of my job of all, reviewing / proofreading returns. Every day I work until I am literally staggering with exhaustion. Today is supposed to be an easy day; I only worked 11 hours. Tomorrow I get up and do it again.
