Oh no he didn't
We were watching the TV show Extant last night together, me, my husband and my 18 year old son.
There's a scene where the Halle Barry character says to her husband at the end of a party, "hang on, I need to go say goodbye to Tim." He says, "Tim wasn't here!" She says, "yes he was, I was talking to him all evening. Let me just find him to say goodbye." He says, "Tim that's in a boat? No, Tim wasn't here." She says, "Yes he was, he had a furlough." He said, "No, he wasn't." She goes to a picture and pulls it up and... he isn't in the picture. She remembers standing next to him when it was taken. She suddenly realizes that she is having hallucinations.
That's what we're supposed to realize in this story arc. She discovers that she was hallucinating.
Can anyone guess what drove me batshit insane? Because neither my husband nor my son saw it. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Hint: without looking I can tell you that those were male writers in the room.
