Psych - one of the best shows on TV. Seriously - James Roday and Dule Hill...chemistry. And I don't care what anyone says - the Mentalist is a rip-off. Sorry Simon Baker, but I'd rather hang out with Shawn and Gus.
So, I was on K-site on Thursday going on a mad posting spree (i.e about 5 posts in a span of 2 hours). I now have posted approximately 37 times on that place and probably won't go back again for another 2 weeks or if I'm really, really bored. I was having a 'discussion' with a few members who have blinders on when it comes to Smallville and acting performance with a certain tall, brunette with blue eyes who wears red jackets on the show.
I have posted several times that I dislike Tom Welling's acting and after 10 years on the same show, there should be noticeable improvement from year 1 to year 10. He was stiff when he first started on, mainly because he had never really acted before but I could live with that. It sort of vibed with his young, naive farmboy character. It worked.
Now? I figured out why I think it's bad. The good news is that he seems to have added a few more facial expressions to his repertoire, so instead of 1 it's now like, 3 or 4. He reminds me of a less amusing Keanu Reeves. Next thing you know: he'll be making Speed 3, yelling out "There. Is. A. Bomb. On. The. RV." However, he's doing his thing, more power to him, I'm sure he's a nice guy in person, just an uninterested actor.
I think I'm cynical when it comes to the romantic aspects of the Lois and Clark thing. Apparently, Lois figuring out on her own that Clark was really the Blur because of the kiss, makes her the smartest cookie in the jar. Why? Because she knows him so well, blah blah blah.
My take? Clark thought he was probably going to die or be sucked up in bad special effects but either way, he needed to see her 'one last time' and came in for the smooch. Maybe it wasn't because Lois figured it out on her own but that Clark finally decided she deserved the truth (whatever). Haven't they known each other for several years up to that point? Worked together? Dated? Unless Clark changed his kissing technique or switched out his deodorant, I would assume Lois would be smart enough to figure it out. Lame. It's common sense, folks!
Yes, the rant on that show has officially gotten me in lame-ass territory but Justin Hartley is hot and I'm OK with admitting it. That's why God invented DVR and fast forward buttons.
