I'm filling out my FOURTH UCAS form!!! Yes that's right, fourth! Marty and I sat down and worked out just exactly how many universities I have been accepted to in the past few years, it came out at 9 (minus the new ones that I'm applying for) in no particular order they are (former) York, Bangor, Aberystwyth, Northumbria, Sunderland, Durham, Nottingham, Birmingham and Kent. There was also Warwick, who rejected me... I didn't want to go to Warwick anyway :p This time round, I know what grades I have and also I'll be a mature student, so I'm in great position! I'll be applying to study Linguistics at the SOAS (the School of Oriental and African studies in London) UCL, Sussex, York and Sunderland... again (York is a real contender, Sunderland is just acting as a back-up should it all go wrong) and I'm thinking about Queens in Belfast. Hmmm... I really like the sound of SOAS, Sanskrit and Linguistics, however, the cost of living is pretty high in London, but we'll just have to see what happens on the open day, I may hate it. Other than that I think York is my favourite, going to the open day a week on thursday. Anyway, fingers crossed it all goes to plan this time, I WILL go to university next year!!
