hey hey
hellooo!! well it has been a long time now hasn't it! hmm... so i wonder where i should start... to be honest i don't really know, afterall; a lot has happened since my last update:
1) finally have an appointment to have my abscess sorted (and two wisdom teeth whilst their in there) i get to be heavily sedated and be looked after by nurse marty for two or three days whilst i recover. sadly the operation happens to be on the second of september, two days after we move up to newcastle, which is a bit of a buggar as i was hoping to be able to find a job between now and then and start work immediately, that and the fact that the dental clinic is in billingham, which is quite a way out, but i've coerced my dad into providing the transport, mwahaha!!!
2)my dad tried dying the other week; vomiting blood, which needless to say was quite terrifying. i was upstairs painting the spare room at the time, he shouts up that he's going to hospital. i was quite confused at the time but i overheard him on the phone to the paramedics that he was vomiting blood and that well, he wasn't feeling too grand. he was in and out the same day, and he's alright now, although his diet mainly comprises of liquid food nowadays. he has a major complaint with his gullet, it's too narrow so he has to be really careful with what he eats (that or have his chest ripped open)
3) my family seem to all be having somekind of nervous breakdown, my nana is stressed out over having home improvements done, my mam is just generally stressed with everything in life, my younger brother is just strange, my sister seems to be overcompensating for her crappy marriage and for once i'm actually the only sane one! oh how i can't wait to move to newcastle and start my new life with marty (i've been waiting to start a new life now for some time, but to start a new life with marty is just too good for words!)
4) laura, marty and myself are off down to essex in just over two weeks to visit kirsty, which will be great fun, i think we could all use a break, even if it is only for a couple of days. it's more than welcome as far as i'm concerned.
5) opened a joint account with marty so that we can pay utility bills easily. i'm amused because i finally have a debit card, they wouldn't let me have one on my sole account because i didn't have enough money going into it.
and well that's about it really, apart from the obvious crappy things that have occured, i'm great! really enjoying my summer, i'm devouring books and spending lots of time with marty! take care :)
