Full Series
Lost Girl , Series 1 (6.5/10)
Initially I gave up after the pilot, but
ongiara convinced me to give the show another try. I still don't think it has the most original or profound storyline - I saw the big revelation from miles away - but it is entertaining enough. And it has a strong female lead, which is something you don't nearly find often enough.
Pilot
The Borgias (7/10)
I have no idea how historically accurate the story is - not more (or less) that The Tudors, I assume - but it is both interesting and entertaining. The cardinals somewhat remind me of the Unseen University's faculty, though. Basically, if you liked The Tudors, there's a good chance you'll like this too. The style is very similar.
Roar (6.5/10)
My reaction to the pilot can be found
here Game of Thrones (9/10)
It's been a while since I've read the books, but as far as I remember the pilot stays pretty close to the original storyline. The sets look amazing and most of the characters come close to how I imagines them. Some I like more than I did in the books, some I like less, and some of the children have grown a little from the books, particularly Jon and Robb, but I guess 14 year old main characters just don't work too well - and they always acted older, anyway.
I'm still having some problems with Jaime, but I guess that's what happens when you see your favourite character of a book series portrayed on screen. He's completely different from "my" Jaime, but I think I may be able to get used to this interpretation of him.
Huh, not really that much last months. I'm sure May will have a lot more, with all the season finales coming up.
