The Tigers are in First...

It's almost June, and the Tigers are in first place of the AL Central.

I need to breath as I think about that. This is the same team that only two years ago lost 119 games. The Tigers were the punch line of Major League Baseball. Hey, it's early in the season, they might not hold on to first...but I'll enjoy it now while I can.

Wait whoa... were you 21 in Cairo? Which means I was 22? Which means Cairo was 3 years ago?!!? WHERE DID TIME GO?!?!?!!? And yes, Cairo was a simple, fantastically fun time. Whenever I think of my "happy place" to calm down or daydream, I immediately am taken back to that beach in Alexandria, where there was absolutely nothing except sky, blue water, and white sand. -sigh-

That's a good calm place

The Braves really aren't playing that bad, they're now only about five games behind the Mets for first in the NL West, just give them some time. I learned long ago not to count the Braves out too early. Barry is what he is, but frankly, he still hit the homers. That takes skill, whether an additive helped them go a few feet longer or not, he's still an amazing hitter. No asterikc in my boock
