In a fit of paternal enthusiasm, I decided that it would only be right and proper to have a really cool cake for m-g's fourth birthday party tomorrow.
However, I am not a baker and have limited patience for actual cake creation. So, what to do in order to resolve this dilemma?
Well, how about using a basic cake mix and some pretty phenomenal moulds to make individual dinosaur cakes? After all, it's not like I had anything better to do with my evening.
(some time later)
Next time, I think I'll outsource this...much like I've outsourced the rest of the party planning. Entertainment, food and even party bags are all being dealt with by someone else. Hell, even the cleaning can be left behind.
In other news, I appear to be continuing to suffer from a mild cold, which has largely gunned up my right ear and left me partially deaf with a touch of tinnitus (but, ironically, it's now quite uncomfortable to be in noisy place). So, spending time tomorrow in a soft play, surrounded by dozens of screaming children, is not going to be the highlight of my weekend.
