Writer's Block: Listen to This
OH! Where to begin. The Seatbelts are interesting and do a wide varity of jazz and rock styles. Although they not done anything in a long time. Son Volt is still putting out much more interesting stuff than Wilco (fronted by a former bandmate) is, and gets maybe a 1/3 of the press.
Wilco's new one does come to mind as interesting.

Death of a musical genius
OK, I'm not a fan. I've always leaned more towards the "Indy" music scene, you know - music with balls As well as classical and jazz, so I've never really given him much thought.. He could however write a great pop song, but I never did own a copy ot Thriller

Play me, I'm Yours
What a great idea. I head about this on the BBC radio program, but it seems some artiist has started placeing piano's in various cities with "Play me, I'm yours" written on the side of them.
The are in tune and can be used by anyone. I would love to see it, and the program did have various reactions to the project in London - all very positive ( Read more... ) -

A little bit of fun and joy
Who knew that Beaker, one of my fave muppets by the way, had such a great voice.
Actually what impresses me in the amount of time someone put in to do the editing. It works very well. The song is Coldplay's "Yellow" by the way.
