It's been decided. My 2007 NaNovel will be completed and ready for critique/editing no later than March 1. There, it's in writing, so I have to hold myself to it.
When I got home, I reacquainted myself with my story and put little sticky notes where all of the major plot points happen. What I'm trying to figure out right now is where the story is going to end. Do I want to tie up all of the loose ends or do I make this a series? I'm hoping that my characters let me know what they want to do. I could see this having a sequel.
In addition to finishing the story, there are a few more things I want to do before I let someone else read it and critique it.
1. Divide longer chapters into more bite sized pieces
2. Take out all of the inconsistencies, the (enter name here) things, etc
3. Go deeper into some plot points to fill the story out.
4. Fix most typos
