(no subject)
Ok, so I talked to Billy about the promotion thing and he said that I should talk to Kelly, the General Manager. She's on vacation until Monday and then I'm going to tell her that I want to apply for the position. So that's that. I think I have a good shot but I'm not getting my hopes up because that's stupid.
Last night I saw Against Me! in Athens. I mean, I've seen them like ten or eleven times now and they still blow me away every show. They're also the only band that I get in the pit for, for some reason. Last night I was an idiot and wore my hoodie inside, so by the end of the show I was literally drenched in sweat. And I had no voice and my ears were ringing. But yeah, awesome show. It was a good punk rock moment and I haven't had one of those in far too long.
I think I'm getting sick. My throat hurts and I feel sort of light-headed and I have the sniffles.
Tonight I got to leave early from work because of the weather: awesome.
That's really it, I guess. Nothing profound and I don't feel like being whiny.
