Blarg Day
Holy crap I hate the CTA. They've changed the runs of the 147 bus I take so that there's a bus that goes straight to downtown and then one that goes to Foster before going downtown. Do you know how confusing that is because as far as I can tell there's no difference in the numbers of these 147, no express tag either. Screw them, I'm taking the 151 from now on. That's a local run, it'll go to Berwyn.
Alright, enough venting about the evils of public transportation. The weather today was nutty, but I still did the walk to the museum, which is about a mile. It seems a lot longer in the snow. I was kind of annoyed with it because for some reason my iTouch says it doesn't have any audiobooks on it which is just crap. I'm never going to get through Dante at this rate!
Work is getting tedious. There's only so much inventorying that I can do before it gets old and it's getting old. (Getting old, museum pun.) But it's still credit and going to help in the long run.
My Archaeology professor thought that a field school was a good idea if I wanted to work for the Parks Department. I'm going to take a look at some of them since graduating doesn't excluding me from them. I also don't have to do anything extra for not going to graduation thanks to my sister's wedding. I'd have to sit through the BA and BS ceremonies to get both degrees, which would just be a hellish long day.
Now, I nap.
