Maddy, Adam and I went to Diamonds last night to cheer on Chantelle, our pole dancing instructor at amateur night (she has never danced at a strip club before). Well after watching some of those amazingly bendy girls work the pole, I'm both inspired and humbled. lol. There were some very talented ladies out there and now I feel like I need to get on my moves!
Level 3 pole dancing starts Monday at 6pm and in this level we have to wear heels/boots and we learn to go upside down! Very excited! I notice a difference in my riding as we have to be equally strong on both sides so my left side is starting to strengthen up!
Despite the gorgeous weather yesterday, I felt like doing nothing but dragged myself out to the barn anyway and went on a shortish trail ride. It was so good to get out and Coco enjoyed herself.
Had my first jumping lesson on Tuesday with Coco since she got here (or maybe I have jumped her once before). Oh babies. We were doing a grid and I basically just sat up and stayed out of the way as she clambored through it and figured out her footwork. She's very sweet and I cannot wait for her to find her owner that will treat her like the princess she is.
I'm already getting people asking me to ride their beasts so that will be fun. If Coco sells I will definitely be riding lots of different horses (and great because it's no commitement!)
Margo should be back from Florida tonight. She is no longer using a walker and only occasionally a cane. I cannot wait to catch up and go the farm for a coffee/movie/wine night.
This weekend promises to be fairly quiet and I shall enjoy it as next Sunday (the 22nd) I'm off to Fort Mac for 2 weeks. I supposed I should inform my mother...
