It really pains me to think that at this very moment, while I'm safe and content in my home in New York City, there are millions of people in Southeast Asia right now whose lives have been forever ruined because they lost their loved ones in the earthquake and tsunamis. IT should be pointed out that it's much easier to publish stories about anti-american(for lack of a better word) sabotage by people like you an' me rather than tectonic plates and orbital bodies conspiring in such a way to create a very large wave.

not that I'm making light of the massive loss of lives. I'm just saying.

no, thats true. i was thinking about that... and that the reason why 9/11 turned from a big deal into a GINORMOUS deal was because it was about terrorism and such. yeah. but there should still be more of an emphasis on international news.
