long ass weekend :)
it's snowing again, just as i'm coming back from my last class. i woke up at 6 this morning to drive to westfield in time for my 9:20 class, it was a fun time...but i'm here now. i had a great weekend and the pictures will be up on "the serious site" soon enough to prove it. i went home Thursday to avoid the snow, missed my Friday class, but when i talked to the teacher he didn't notice i wasn't there. so i got a 3 day (4 night) weekend. which means last week was a four day week, this week is also a four day week for me because my only class Friday got canceled, and then next week because of the holiday is also a four day week, the week after that i have a doctors appointment on Friday so i'll get another 4 day week and then the week after that (although five days long) is the last week before spring break...i'm excited about not having to be here that much longer, and also 3 day weekends.
Wednesday i have to start phase two of my student teaching, one on one with a special needs student. apparently westfield considers poor kids from diverse backgrounds special needs students, so i'm meeting with betsy a fourth grader who needs help with math. not what i had expected but it should turn out to be a good experience. ok that's enough for today i'll just leave you with a few fun memories of the weekend, anna considering rolling on the ground her "cool new dance", dunphy in a lime green leotard, nate in 5 inch crush velvet platforms dancing to the cure, and drew's skids. i think i'll scan the photos now....
