DC is smaller then I realized
So I joined a scrabble club at the Chevy Chase Community Center. Well, me and jake didn't know where it was last time, so we took the metro. It took about 40 minutes to get there and then we walked a few blocks to the actaul place. Well, I decided to try driving so I could pick up jake after his training session in frienship heights. It ended up only being 5 MILES AWAY! It is seriously so close. I am driving from now on! The only scary part was this thing called a roundabout, traffic goes in a complete circle with people coming on and off, from streets connected to the circle..I was so confused..but I went down a street and was one off..but it connected to the street the community center was on, so I was able to get back on track.
I ended up playing four games of scrabble. I had 1 WIN, 3 LOSSES, but thats not to bad because I was playing championship players. I even had a bingo, which is where you use all 7 letters, mine was worth 74 points! YAY! But I am learning new words which is good. And I am begining to see the board better, and how to connect on to smaller words to make a bunch of small words for lots of points. I really love scrabble!
Other then that, life's been kinda of a downer lately. All i do is work and sleep. I haven't been having very much fun and I've been feeling kinda stressed out. I just need a break from life sometimes. You know?
