Hello Luceti! I hope everyone's feeling well and you've all been enjoying the weather lately; it was so hot last week it almost felt like being back home.

[There's a little pause- despite how lovely some parts of Luceti are, she can't help but feel a little bit... homesick sometimes.]Oh! And that reminds me, do you know I've been here for a few ( Read more... )

[ Sighs. Oh, Milly. ]

I can help you look for some books. We can learn new recipes together.

Oh would you? You're such a good cook Meryl, that would be wonderful! And maybe we could go and find some bathing suits so we can finally go to the beach?

It'll be a lot easier to cook for everyone with the two of us.

B-Bathing suits? Er...

That's right, and I've already mastered quiche so I really should broaden my repertoire.

What's wrong Meryl? Don't you want one?

With those two in the house, you should get some meatier dishes in your personal recipe book, too.

I'm not so-- well, let's see what we find, first.

Oh that's a good idea, something like chilli? Or beef stew maybe?

If we're all going to learn to swim Meryl you really should get a bathing suit. It would be silly to get your clothes all wet when there are special things to wear just for swimming.

Exactly. Those make for good leftovers for lunches, too. They reheat nicely.

[ Can she hear that exasperation in her sigh? She can run around in nothing but a shirt when the moment's dire, but going out in public - she's seen those things. ] L-Like I said... let's... just see what's there.

I forgot how much food you need for active men, it's almost like being back home with my Little and Middle Big Brothers when they were going through their growth spurts.

[We'll get that exasperation turned into enthusiasm, don't you worry Meryl! o7] And we should get one for Miss Amelia too, she said she wanted one.

Every time I think I know how big your family is, it seems to grow again. I couldn't imagine handling such a big crew to cook for.

Mm, we should. You might want to ask her her size, first, though.

We Thompsons have very hearty appetites, but we all like to pitch in and help in the kitchen. That way everything gets done that much quicker and we get to eat sooner!

Well... she's sort of in between you and me heightwise.

Doesn't that get to be... a little crowded?

I don't think height matters much with a bathing suit.

You'd think so, but we actually have a really big kitchen.

I suppose you're right... hmm. I wonder what the most important thing to look for in a bathing suit is?

I guess you'd have to.

Bust size and hip size, I would think... be careful how you ask about them, okay?

Oh yes; Miss Amelia's got such a lovely figure, don't you think? It must be nice not to have huge big shoulders. You and her a really lucky Meryl.

I don't really have a striking figure either, Milly... but you don't have huge shoulders. I think you look just fine.

What are you talking about Meryl, you have a lovely figure! It's so dainty and petite.
