oh girl..i know you'll be ok, b/c even in the worst case scenerio, it's totally treatable, and i think it's likely nothing. but i understand how the thought of this is just scary and unsettling.

yeah totally! i actually appreciate that sentiment because i feel ridiculous/childish worrying about it (since the chances are so slim that it'll be a problem), but at the same time, IT'S A POSSIBILITY.

Yeh, you definitely should not worry about it. Not worth it given the chances. But still, it is a scary possibility. Everyone in my mom's fam has had full blown skin cancers, and nothing bad ever happened except my uncle. My nana used to get em froze off like every week till she was 87

yeah my dad's had skin cancer and so far so good. it's just...well, it's my first biopsy.

i had a darker dot on a larger, flat mole on my back removed in high school. they punched out the dot with a circular blade, sent it to be biopsyed, and gave me 2 stitches. mine was nothing. it's good that you got it done, i think letting those things go makes them way scarier.

yeah it's funny how as soon as you mention it, a slew of people come out of the woodwork with their own mole scare stories. le sigh.
