Home again.
Had an interesting trip back from Minneapolis. Got stuck at the airport for 3 hours while America West did a plane swap in Phoenix. Due to the delay I missed my intended flight out of Vegas, but luckily my fellow passengers were slow on the draw and I got myself on a flight within moments of arriving in LV. Ended up walking back to base from the airport because my intended ride decided to go to Vegas and get married, that would be Lara for those who didn't know. Honestly I think being sacked would have been only slightly more painful.
After returning I decided to go out and get a new television. Best Buy decided to sell me a TV that had apparently been dropped as it's tube would not energize and upon further investigation has one of it's circuit boards broken completely in half. Needless to say I returned the defective TV earlier today and replaced it with another unit... which was missing it's remote. And that ladies and gentlemen is why I don't buy "big" ticket items.
