Staying at my boss's house day one
So my boss Steve is a really cool guy. While he is in Michigan he is letting Wendi and I stay at his apartment. He lives on the lower east side of Manhattan. I mean its the same block as the Mars Bar. The best parts so far are the cable (got to watch the Pistons game tonight) and the Whole Foods across the street
I am closer to work to be sure. This neighborhood is kind of ritzy Wendi and I saw Katie Couric a block from here the other week. It should be interesting to live here for the next week or so but I am unsure whether I would like to do it long term. The nice thing is that Steve's apartment is really nice not in a posh way but in a homey way. He has paintings and drawings on almost every square inch of his walls. Its really cozy and comforting to be here. That, and there isn't the sound of rats constantly crawling in the walls to deal with.
After watching Monty Python on BBC on demand I decided to name our my newly established wireless network "The Spanish Inquisition". If you're in the east village feel free to log on the pass word is "auntberu3".
