Dave Gibbons and Halloween and our hero has a great day. . .

On Thursday Dave Gibbons, famed artist of Watchmen, had a signing at midtown comics. He has a new book out called "Watching the Watchmen". It was really cool to meet him. He is one of my artistic heroes and I got an awesome sketch from him. I met a lot of really cool comic fans in line as well.

On Halloween I had to work until 7. It wasn't that late but it was a long stretch of working. We had a lot of cute Trick or Treators. My boss had me buy a lot of candy earlier in the day so we were prepared. Even so we ran our around 5:30. Here are a couple of choice pictures. . .

Ryan, Nicole, and I walked from Tribeca up to Houston and saw a lot of weirdos. We met Wendi and Ellen at Whole Foods and then after getting seperated we made it to the parade. It was the equvialte of the New York Mardi Gras. Very cool Halloween. . . although I myself put forth minimal effort.
Today all four room mates were home. A miraculous event indeed. We put much effort into hanging out and listening to Pandora. We also tried to accomplish much. Work was hard fought for me, I couldn't seem to get it right. I don't consider it much of a loss since I this is my first day off in more than a week.
