What if a piano fell on you tomorrow or your demise came unexpectedly in a freak cheez whiz accident?? What would happen to all those poor, unfinished fics filling your hard drive? To whom would you will these fics for their completion? We want to know!
At this point, I'd take anyone willing to finish Ayion Oros for the Women of the Gates ficathon because it's already weeks late, and I'm no closer to finishing it than I was a week ago.
I'd give
skydiver119 A Star at Dawn. I think she'd like the Sam/Teal'c bits, and it would take her all of ten minutes to finish up the few missing paragraphs. And knowing her, she'd make the rest of the story better, too, no doubt improving on the voices of Jonas, Sam, and Teal'c.
Unfinished story #1, with the first line of, "Sam Carter was pissed," would be willed to
surrealphantast who could probably pull off the delicate balance between humor and S/J romance needed to make this one work. In fact, she would have a better chance of making it work than I do. Although, I'm really not sure she'd be interested in it.
The sequel to Ten-Thousand Suns (which I will never finish) would, of course, be willed to
katiedammit and/or
scarimor who are the only two people I think might be remotely interested in it. (Perhaps to throw darts at, but, whatever would make them happy.)
I have two unfinished Xena uber/romance fics. I would send both of them (Shamrock Snow and It's in the Blood) to
geonncannon because he'd do them justice, and, more importantly, he'd probably actually finish them. He'd be my hero. And the hero of all those many Xena fans who want to see the damn things finished. And he could probably sell them, too.
I'm not sure who would want my original fic. Anyone like YA fantasy?
