give people the right to hunt, trap, fish (which we already enjoy the right to do) but it would make
hunting, fishing and trapping the preferred means to manage
certain wildlife in the state -- and would take away the rights
of voters to participate in the decision-making process. It would seem that any state's constitution
should proclaim rights that guarantee
fundamental democratic principles, not take them away. This IS a nation 'by the people for the people', right?
Voting 'yes' would, basically, take away your right as an Oklahoman to have any say so in the management of Oklahoma wildlife. If you would like to retain your right to have a say in how the state of Oklahoma manages its wildlife you would want to vote 'no' on 742. Thank you for your time.
