Sign War Update #2
One of the girls across the street (SUV girl's sister, apparently) came by the house this afternoon and told Kate that they had seen our signs this morning and wanted to assure us that they hadn't done it. This was a very nice gesture and much appreciated. She mentioned that their signs had been knocked over last week, and someone had cut the cable on their lawnmower which had been left in the driveway.
You know, I just don't understand this kind of malicious, destructive behavior. Cutting a cable on a lawnmower? That's just awful.
