K. I was gonna do this... every night of the past week, but then homework intervened. You know how just last week I was like omgnothatmuchstressatall! But now that's totally off the menu. And the Deluxe Stress Platter is on. Oh my God, why did I just make that analogy? Eck.
The run down:
Monday morning our Blog Class teacher Peter Sands was all like huff and puff and roar about people not posting substantive things. He cited the post that I made for the class discussion board the night before as "the golden standard" and my heart swelled. But then, he also said that posting the night before was unacceptable because it halts discussion.
We had to come up with a new system that encourages more class participation. I got my group to go with LJ as our new medium suggestion.
The cold actually didn't keep that many people away (though it did turn my nose hairs into icicles), that it looked like anyway. Casey had all her classes cancelled and got to leave. Meanwhile I had my four hour class and it was asstacular. An hour and fortyfive minutes of lecture! Of things I already knew! Why!?
Adam and I spent the night laptopping. I did web homework. We watched endless dance music videos on YouTube. BOSS(Be On the Safe Side)ed home at around 11. No frost bite or knifings for me!
Tuesday morning in GD got around to clarifying that not only did she want more research in our more formal presentation on Thursday, but she wanted us to have a product picked and ready to pitch. Glekrjoidfaiosdkack. She talked to each of us one on one. And hated my planner idea because it had no unique twist. Sigh.
Back at the Table Mike sent out fellow GDers Heidi and Kelly as his wimmen. We all basically told him last week that he did NOT want to be handing out his sex survey himself. He just looks like a creepy nerd. A cool nerd, but a nerd nonetheless. He needs to shave and maybe that would go away (is that a pot calling a kettle black I hear off in the distance?).
Web Design 2 was more of the usual. Kahara was cold. Kelly was like "dude," Lisa (the teacher, but I would hope you'd know that after four semesters of me talking about her) was wonderfully off-kilter. We're considering doing www.thebestpageintheuniverse.com for our site redesign project. There are these two guys who sit next to me in that class and are all bantery in a testosteroney way. One is the normal "skinny glasses east side tech nerd" type and the other is... I don't know. Kind fat. Kinda loud. Kinda obnoxious. Kinda I want to bend him over. Kinda.
Tuesday night! Kahara and I did reading. And that's about it. 40 pages of A People's History of the United States. Then essays essayed on d2l. I was theoretically going to get around to doing my new gd 2 surveys, but then it got all late.
