wonders if I should...
pick up a hobby!
my list of possible hobbies -
cross-stitching, scrapbooking, learning (re-learning) a language, learning to play a musical instrument, learning a new sport, learning flower arrangement, manicure/pedicure classes, or picking up photography...
I seem to know at least one person who in the past/recently did one of the above. And the sheep in me feels like I should go join the herd, and learn something in my spare time! (not that I have a lot of time to spare between meeting him and spending time at home and the occasional friends' meetups in between) Since its a little too soon after graduating to go back to studying again, I just thought perhaps I should learn something a little less academic.
the first thing that comes to mind is tennis. we've been talking about wanting to take tennis lessons since last year, but we're just waiting for him to find a stable job first before we commit expenses to that. and it wouldn't exactly be an entirely new sport for me since I already played it quite a lot in uni... and I'm always doing sports... I should do something else! something more homely... like flower arrangement... :P
Ooh... maybe I should go for cooking/baking classes. Since I've always been wanting to do that. I could start with classes at the community centre.. shall consider that seriously...
now that I suddenly recall, I have been learning something new recently! in fact, I just graduated with a driving license! hehe so I haven't been that idle afterall... :] on to the next hobby now. its been more than a month since my driving test... hehe
