so its pretty shitty that we got screwed for housing. we had our exact room online, but then the system crashed. and THEN, when we had to redo the whole thing on paper and get IDs and do all this stuff, we find ourselves completely out of luck for a garden apartment. im ok with it...ill drop my meal plan to 10 a week instead of 14 and get a double in quads, and just mooch more off alex/chris and anna/jessie. its only one semester. but there are two problems. #1, my roommate for the apartment has decided to screw me over and get a single, leaving me with no roommate. ive basically had a single for most of this year, and i HATE it...its lonely. and it will be even worse in an ACTUAL single, as theyre basically closets with beds thrown in somewhere. #2, my three would-be apartment-mates are juniors, and now theyre stuck living in dorms where freshmen live. but we can deal...were all going abroad second semester. its just frustrating to have to deal with this when it took us SO long to figure it all out, and now everything has gone to shit.
