Memorial Day
I have a very good friend who served in WWII. I know several Vietnam Vets. I met one of the gentlemen in the rescuing aircraft in the actual event that Blackhawk Down was based on. My brother-in-law served in both the Persian Gulf and current conflict as did my first fiance.
I know that there are many current and former military personnel right here on LiveJournal and I want to say thank you for your service and honor. You deserve more than you get, yet you still soldier on.
