DONE!!
well... i finished my dress some time last week... and i must say i am in love with it. in the process of making it, i was actually a little disappointed, thinking that the design was too plain, but i find that the simplicity gives it a sophisticated elegance. it almost seems that i have already achieved that "old hollywood" elegance that i was going to aim for in my next dress. and because of it's basic structure and design, i think this will be a much more comfortable and convenient dress to wear than anything i've made previously (honestly, the prom dress i made last year was very uncomfortable and i made poor fabric choices that made the dress on the heavy side!!)
now i must get to buying a nice warm pair of long gloves and a nice clutch.... gloves so i can stay warm and wear my capelet, and i also tried to remedy a black clutch that my sister has but it just looks too tacky. i COULD use my silver one, but isn't the general rule that your purse should match your shoes??
