[Today is a wonderful day Mayfield. Do you know why?

Because Haruko has her Vespa back, folks. The Wasp Woman is back in action, and my god is she ever pleased.

Look out folks. She's on the road.]

[A specimen with a baseball bat and roller blades fitting that description happens to be in the direct trajectory of Haruko's moving vehicle. And when he turns at the sound of the voice, her bass gets a direct hit on his face. He's sent momentarily airborne before landing face-down in the street. If his face isn't shattered in twenty pieces, it'll truly be a miracle.]

[Ahahahaha hell yes it's just like old times! Grinning, Haruko starts to turn the Vespa around...

and manages for it to go out of control, spilling her out of the seat. Dammit. She always screws up on u-turns. Either way, it's time to find the kid she just hit.]

[Slugger is still down for the count and it looks like for good. Hey, maybe she killed him. A hit like that probably wouldn't leave very many people alive.

But wait! There's movement. His hands move over the ground and he begins to push himself up. The next thing he'll do is reach for his ball cap and put it back on, then crawl toward his bat. He hasn't looked up yet but one could imagine what awful shape his face must be in right now. However, there is a strange lack of blood smeared over the street.]

[Shit! The last way she wanted to start this off was by killing a kid. There were plenty of things she would do, but killing kids wasn't especially one of them. Well, as long as she could help it.

But oh, good. He's moving. Clearly, that mean's he's perfectly fine. She'll go ahead a be a nice guy by kicking the bat over to Slugger. The blood is kind of odd, but as far as she's concerned, no blood is good news.]

[The grip of the bat rolls directly into his open hand. Then, rising to his feet from hands and knees, he flexes his neck and shoulders as if to work out some imaginary kinks from a nonexistent case of whiplash. As for his face? There isn't a single bruise or scratch, just a bit of dirt from the road. His forehead is, unfortunately, obscured under his cap.

Slugger has got to admit, that was a nice shot.]

What was that for?

Be quiet.

[Just bending down and trying to move a hand under the bill of your cap. She can't see your forehead, and that's what she needs, so she'll be trying to boost the bill up with her thumb.]

[What was with this woman? Slugger rolls backward a few paces on his skates to avoid her intruding hand, clasping the bill of his cap between his finger tips for good measure. Somehow he seems more opposed to being touched than to being hit and is eyeing her warily from beneath the cap.]

Don't touch.

[Just smirking.]

Ooooooh, scared of being touched huh? Don't worry, I'll be gentle.

[Totally ignoring your warning, Slugger.]

What are you doing?

[Clearly, this is the greatest ploy ever.]
