Ikea gives people the right to act like complete headcases!

California Pizza Kitchen tastes better in Chicago?

This and more...later in this email.

Hey Howdy Hey Midwestern/LA/Washington/Maine readers! It's a quiet and cool Monday here in LA...as usual...and here I am...sending you your email...as usual. How easily I have slipped into the flow. Well...we must shake it up. But how?

How
About
spacing
out
every
word?

Ew. Gross. Even I hate that. I'm sorry. I won't do THAT again.

Anyway...on with the show. Well...can it be considered a show since it's a written document? On with the reading? Yeah...I like that.

Neither here nor there.

For todays top story...IKEA. Now...I know in Ohio, they just got an Ikea in West Chester...and that is truly a blessing for those "ballin on a budget" (living on a fixed income), but I have noticed...at least in Chicago and LA...it's a status symbol. Buying cheap furniture...well...is the thing to do now. People are dressed to the nines, stopping up the aisles debating which $2 pot to buy. Doesn't matter...it's gonna scorch your food no matter what...so please...GET OUT OF THE WAY FOR THOSE OF US WHO KNOW WHAT WE ARE HERE FOR!

*deep breath*

Me and my roommates adventured to Ikea after driving through the mountains (pictures to soon come), and it was a madhouse! I was wondering if Christmas had somehow snuck up on me while I was sleeping ( I do tend to sleep alot)...but this was a regular Sunday. Which amused me...because technically, Sunday is the day of rest...and I know even God looked at IKEA and said "Give it people! You are making my head spin" Oi. There were screaming kids (who I seriously wanted to join in with pitching a fit with over how long it was taking), Ooooing and Awwwwing tourists (I wanted to shake them so hard), and the people who you know KNOW the store like the back of their hand. This was my first time...and for now...at least here in LA...my last time going on a Sunday.

California Pizza Kitchen tastes better in Chicago. Which is weird. It's kind of like Mexican people making better Chinese food, and Chinese people making better Mexican food. It's just strange. Don't get me wrong, CPK is good no matter what...but thus far...it has been the best in Chicago. Then again, Chicago just knows how to do pizza.

That is the basic recap of my weekend...I stay in a lot...and I got my hair done! Woooo! No more knaptacular proportions!

For those of you who haven't seen, I'm attaching todays photo. :-)

peace love and 9 days to go
