Miles Away From Home
Ladies and gentlemen... it has been eleven long, grueling months. After countless late nights in the studio up until 4:00 A.M., so many arguments, $7,000.00, and three relationships, it is finally finished. "Miles Away From Home" was mastered today. Less than two weeks from now, you will all have a chance to own a copy. It is about damn time.
We hope that all of you will get the chance to feel and hear all the heart and soul we put into this record. We threw much of our college savings into getting our music recorded. We sacrificed spending time with our loved ones to put extra hours into the record. We lost jobs, we lost girlfriends. We missed out on so many good times with friends, but we are still victorious. We have eleven of our favorite tunes on "Miles Away From Home" tracking in at 52 minutes and 6 seconds. 52 minutes for two years of hard work in Veracity. It's so worth it and now we can share it with the people who kept us hard at work, all of you. We hope you all get the chance to listen to the MySpace songs. Hopefully, you'll like them enough to pick up a copy of the whole album. Just maybe, you'll love the songs on the album and we'll make a fan.
I can't tell you how excited and pleased I am with the sounds coming from my headphones at this very moment. I am amazed we could create such a unique sound and enough of that sound to fill a CD. I am amazed that our engineers could take our performances and make them sound as great as they do. I hope everyone can share in our amazement. Thank you to everyone who helped us get this record out. You have helped us do the unimaginable. We love you all so much.
A simple record of our music that I could have for the rest of my life would suffice, but I want to ride this horse until it dies. I love music and I love our music. I don't want to stop, ever. As long as there's people to be rocked, I want to be one who rocks them. Thank you, good night.
