Spent part of the day shopping for things for the wedding and groceries. I remember how much I hate shopping, I just push the cart and play Tetris, stopping only to say "no" or "yes" until it's time to hand over my check card.
I also got a call from the insurance company for the damages to my vehicle. Apparently my truck is worth $1700, damage is $1300+, so they totalled it. I turned around and negotiated them to a check for a little over $1200. That way, Tracy can turn her car back in to the dealer (repossess) and I can use the money to buy a second truck. That'll save us about $400 a month. Slowly but surely, I'm fighting my way out of the insanity.
By the way, I got an email back from my mom and she said her priest gave her the ok. I love guilt trips and superior philosophy.
