My own personal Daily WTF
Along with 2 peers, I'm at the top of the Unix accounts management food chain at work. There's a dedicated group to handle the day-to-day stuff for new hires, terminations, and group management. When they have questions pertaining to something from the Unix side they come to us.
Yesterday, we got a request asking what should be done with a group someone wants to be added to that currently has no other members and the owner hasn't worked at the company for 2 years. My response was along the lines of "Unless the requester wishes to own the group, delete it."
The reply I got from the requester a few minutes ago was, "Isn't this the location of the XX Lab work request page?" Uh. What?
