Ryu Kisargi
The wandering bard who uses a sword and a 6-foot long lute. He comes and goes at will, and can turn into a Prismatic Dragon.

Isn't Ryu Kisaragi a copyrighted name?

And no. Ryu KISARGI is not.
Yuffi KISARAGI is.

There's a difference.
KISARGI
KISARAGI.
There's an extra A in Yuffie's naem. :P

I thought Ryu was the MC in BoF.

And I think the names are too similar for "artistic liberty" to apply.

And yeah, he's the main focus from BoF.

But then there's a lot of games that's taken the singular name, Ryu, and added last names to it.

Ryu Hayabusa, from Ninja Gaiden.
Ryu Hoshino, Street Fighter series.

And those are just off the top of my head.

I can name you Ryu, but I think Kisargi is a little too close to Kisaragi, not a lot of people will catch the difference.

Ryu means dragon. I don't think anyone could copyright that as a name and claim no one else could use it. Also, "Kisaragi" is the traditional name for Feburary.
