An excellent read, fast paced mystery, interesting characters, and of course sizzling heat between Sam and Gabe. Not to discount the attraction between Sam and Vance, but here's hoping that remains way in the background. I didn't really figure out whodunit until nearly 2/3 through the book, which is an improvement since some of her books the murder is really pretty obvious. Even still, Apodaca writes solid likeable characters and keeps things moving to a HEA ending.
Well for the most part, the relationship between her and Gabe continues to grow, and I am hoping that in the next book Sam will find out some truths about her biological dad.
