1st day back
at work.
OMG I hate getting up at 6am.
Things went as well as could be expected for a first day that included:
New server (new as in never done it ever)
New Runner (again see above)
New cash register/system
New food choices for breakfast
New rules about what we can and cannot wear
Workmen in the kitchen fixing shit that didnt' work this morning
Taco day
Area supervisor decides to "drop" in
First off it's a special kind of evil that makes the first day of school Taco day. Then to have the supervisor "drop" in was a definite sign that we are doomed. We however were wonderful, she even complimented us and said she was so very proud of us.,
If she only knew.

New rules say no jewlery, that includes wedding rings (unless plain smooth... mine has engraved detail so it's a no-no), earrings, necklaces, bracelets & watches.
We are not happy people.
But things seem alright, both new girls seem to catch on very quickly so we cross our fingers and hope they stay.
Right now I need a nap, unfortunately I have to take the AC to finish getting all her ducks in a row so the gran can go to head start, so I think I might just put my feet up and read a bit. Or Cruise Ebay for Tude's birthday gifts. She wants both the Chucky & Tiffany dolls, I'd like to get her the large (26 inch) animated ones, but may have to settle for the smaller (13 inch) stuffed ones unless I get a good deal.
What I really need to do is clean house, but it is going to have to wait until Friday & Saturday.
