Stupid
A part of this fandom really pisses me off. I hate it when KAT-TUN fans compare between the members and start all the jealousy talk. It's really stupid you know? Whatever the members do, it will affect KAT-TUN one way or another. So why must we degrade the other to make our idol standout while they are all in the same group?
Maybe because I'm originally from Shinhwa fanbase - where most of the fans really respect all six members despite whom they like more than whom -, so all I see and expect from this fandom based on Shinhwa's fandom. I want it to be the same. I want all fans unite as one just like what I'm used to see in Shinhwa's fandom.
Throughout my 4 years being as Shinhwa's fan and 3 years actively involved in Shinhwa fandom, I have never seen any Shinhwa fans be jealous because that member gets more work to do than her most favourite member. Whenever each one of them got recognized or award or something, we congratulated wholeheartedly. I don't know how many times I actually have heard the sentence "As long as it's Shinhwa members, I don't care who gets that award/job/work". Even Hyesung's fans - those in my opinion, must be the most passionate fangroup amongst the six individual fangroups - have never even once complained about Eric/Minwoo/Dongwan/JunJin/Andy got more work/promotion than Hyesung did. Because why? Because in our mind, as long as we can see Shinhwa, as long as Shinhwa is still one united body, as long as all of the members are happy with what they are doing and happy with each other, WE DON'T CARE WHO IS FAMOUS THAN WHOM. OVERALL, THEY ARE ONE UNITED GROUP THAT WE LOVE DEARLY, AND AT THE END OF THE DAY, THEY STILL COME BACK TO SHINHWA BECAUSE SHINHWA IS THEIR HOME, THEIR BASE TO BEGIN WITH.
So why must we try to make them compete with each other uselessly?
That's what makes me feel helpless everytime I enter KAT-TUN community. People try to make their idols standout without knowing that by doing that, they have destroyed the unison amongst KAT-TUN fans. Don't try to say you are doing the best for KAT-TUN! KAT-TUN is famous for their frank and straightforward personalities when it comes to the group, if not, they would never be where they are now. I believe if any member feels like he's being treated unfairly, he would voice out immediately and they would have a discussion within the group, there's no room for us to interfere anyway. So why must we have to make the situation worst amongst fans??? Isn't that just ridiculous? There's always a certain barrier between fan and idol which we should never cross. And if that so, we should just stick to keep supporting them to push KAT-TUN's name further, to make KAT-TUN standout among other groups but not causing further internal problem within the fandom.
This is the time we need to unite, not falling apart because of petty jealousy.
