A quick question for anyone on my f-list that has sat the JLPT before (I know there's a few of you).
Have anyone's results ever been lost in the mail? XD; If yes, how the hell did you get them?
It's been about a month now and it's become apparent to me that my results are not on their way. I've had someone check my mailbox in Akita, just in case something horrible went wrong and my address change request didn't go through or something, and there's been nothing. My results, they are lost. I've been going through the guide book, but while there's loads of information on how to order a certificate, there's nothing on how to re-order results. I think there's actually provisions on what to do if I'd sat the test in Australia, but as I sat it in Japan, it's useless information.
I only sat 3-kyuu, and I know it's not really worth that much - I'm much closer to 2-kyuu, but wanted to pass, ha - but I did pay quite a bit of money to sit that damn test, and by God I didn't make the 3 hour trip from Akita to Morioka in the snow to sit that damn exam for nothing! I made the trip for the drunken train ride back! Besides, I put in my application for graduation last night, and when I do graduate I would like some sort of certification that gives an approximate of what sort of language skills I have to any future employer.
Maybe I should just chance it and try and order a certificate anyway. I don't know if that's possible, but I'm pretty sure I smashed the exam - I just have to decide if I'm willing to risk potentially sending 2000yen down a black hole...but first, anyone been in this situation before that can offer any assistance?
